Excerpt from Constitution, by-Laws, Roll of Members and Proceedings of the Kentucky State Bar Association at Its Organization Meeting Held in Louisville, Kentucky, November 19, 1901 At this time there were 196 members on the roll of the Association. The most eminent lawyers of the State were present. The Association appointed a committee to consider, and, at the next meeting, to make a report on, the reforms suggested in the President's address and in Mr. Browder's address on Evidence; and also appointed a committee to propose, at the next meeting, some reform in the standard of legal education required for admission to the bar.
