Excerpt:... PROCEEDINGS OF THE TWENTY-FIRST ANNUAL MEETING OF THE Indiana State Bar Association HELD AT Indianapolis, Ind., July 11 and 12, 1917 FIRST DAY--MORNING SESSION Wednesday, July 11, 1917. The members of the Association met at the Country Club, in Indianapolis, Indiana, at 10 o'clock a. m., and were called to order by President William A. Hough, Esq., in the chair. President Hough: Gentlemen of the Indiana State Bar Association: You will please come to order. I announce the opening of the twenty-first annual meeting of the Indiana State Bar Association. The first business on the program is the reading of the minutes for the meeting of 1916. The minutes have been published in the report of the meeting, and in the absence of any objection they will stand approved as they have been printed. There is no objection. They may be so considered. Have you any announcements to make? Secretary Batchelor: The members have all been advised of the program of the arrangements for this meeting. In view of the changes made, a good many probably do not understand what the arrangements were. There will be no annual banquet this year. That has been eliminated from the program. In place of the annual banquet there will be a dinner served at this club at 6 o'clock this evening. Ladies are invited to the dinner. There will be a luncheon served at 12 o'clock today. Ladies are invited to that. There will be a luncheon tomorrow. Ladies are invited to that. In other words, the ladies are invited to the entire program this year, and we hope they will avail themselves of the opportunity. The annual address will be delivered by Judge Charles S.
