Excerpt from Proceedings of the Ninth Annual Meeting of the Maine State Bar Association: Held at Auburn, Maine, February 14, 1900 The president appointed Mr. F. E. Timberlake of Phillips as auditor to examine the treasurer's report, and Mr. Timberlake subsequently reported that he had attended to that duty, had examined the account and vouchers and found the payments properly cast and vouched.
