This study reports the results of a field survey utilizing geophysical soil survey conductivity measurements coupled with near-surface soil chemistry analyses to determine if drilling wastes are migrating away from the boundaries of eight sumps abandoned over a range of permafrost conditions in the Mackenzie Valley, Northwest Territories.
