Edited and Revised December 2014This story differs from the previous two in the series, in that the construction is different, Scott moves into the background a little, and, of course, I add new characters.The chapters resemble short stories each with their own plot. However, most add to one or more of the three major plots. The plots weave their way through the story, sometimes seeming to disappear, only to show up in a latter chapter.Be careful. Some of my titles can be deceitful. As the chapter opens, the title seams to mean one thing, but at the end, you'll see it means something else.One of the plots involves organized crime and they have big plans to make a large fortune. Then again what's new? They are always after every dime they can get, no matter who suffers for it. The second plot involves a juvenile gang. One of them is highly armed and they don't care whose toes they step on to have a little fun. Well, actually, they do more than step on toes. The third plot... I'll let you figure that one out on your own.You'll want to look for little surprises as you read. It adds to the fun. Then again, some of the surprises aren't so little. Well, I guess the intended surprises won't surprise some of you. Some people can figure things out well in advance regardless of how hard I try. Still, you might have fun seeing the plots develop and weave into a story of... Well, I don't want to spoil it for you.Oh, I might mention. This story takes place in a real city, though in most cases, the actual location is very vague.
