Umbrella Ministries Reaching out to the hurts and hearts of mothers who have experienced the loss of a child. We may not be able to make the sun shine for you… but we can hold the umbrella Umbrella Ministries seeks to encourage moms who have suffered the loss of a child by helping them to connect with both God and other moms. God and His resources of grace, love, and strength help us to walk forward even as He uses other moms to be His heart and voice of compassion and understanding. Through regional conferences, local support groups, a weekly email devotional outreach, and the heart of one mom connecting with the heart of another in quiet places all over the globe, we offer to others the comfort God has given us. The devotionals in this book are a collection of some of the devotionals we have emailed to thousands of moms over the years. They come from the hearts of three of our moms who are part of Umbrella Ministries. We share them with you so maybe once a week, or more, you can find that quiet place as so many of our moms do, to reflect on your child, your journey of grief, and the God who longs to walk with you.
