At 6 months of age, Ki Meekins was placed in the 'care' of the South Australian Government. Ki tells the horrible story of how paedophiles were allowed to take children away from these institutions and molest, abuse and rape them. An Adelaide entertainer was allowed to take Ki to Queensland for 3 months. In that time Ki was raped daily. Ki spent 7 years fighting the Government in court. In 2004 he went public on Channel Seven's Today Tonight show, shocking the nation with his story. The fallout forced the Rann Government to announce the Mullighan Inquiry, which will report its findings mid-April.
