In addition, it attempted to approach human rights to Won Buddhism doctrine, and presented Won Buddhist understanding and alternatives on human rights issue.This book consists of 6 chapters. First, Chapter 1 highlights the relationship between religion and human rights. For readers unfamiliar with the concept of human rights, I attempted to introduce the history of human rights and discover the concept of human rights in the doctrines of established religions. In addition, it introduces how religion is placed in the human rights system and analyzes how religion has historically performed human rights activities in Korea. It also analyzes the reality that religion causes human rights abuses and introduces the Sudanese religious dispute as a case study. Finally, efforts were made from various angles to widen the interface between religion and human rights.
