David and Charlotte are so disappointed with the ending of their book that, with the help of an old alchemy set, they jump right into the world in their book. But things in the fantasy world aren't quite as they were in the story and the children find themselves helping the prince to rescuehis princess - even though they must fight off the water sprites and get to the House at the Eye of the Storm, which is guarded by the evil worm.This exciting fantasy story should appeal to readers of such authors as Philip Pullman and Susan Cooper.
