This manual combines the latest local and international guidelines for management of diabetes and consists of data based on local research. A joint effort between the Diabetes and Endocrine Center of the Prince of Wales Hospital and Department of Medicine and Therapeutics of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, it aims to provide a quick reference to all health care personnel involved in the management of diabetes mellitus with emphasis upon Type 2 diabetes. The royalties from the sale of this book will go to the Prince of Wales Hospital Diabetes and Endocrine Center Fund to improve the quality of care of diabetic patients and support ongoing research to advance our understanding of this disease.
