Author Description

This book is a result of various excursions I made during the 1980s and 1990s; starting in Devon(The Arvon Centre), then going ever westward through Wales (a jazz ourse), Cornwall (a holiday with Jimmy), Ireland (a stilt walking course) Cuba (a visit with my salsa class) and the west coast of the United States (to meet Janet) I ended up, going back across England, from West to East on the Cumberland Way (a guided walk) Apart from the diary in which I recorded my trip to the US, all the rest are in the form of the poems I wrote about, or in the various places. These poems also appear in my other poetry collections.
