Industrial bus networks are specially intended for the interconnection of process controllers, sensors, and actuators, at the lower levels of the factory automation hierarchy. This book provided a comprehensive research and analysis on the timing related characteristics for industrial bus network, and also provided practical solutions to some industrial application. Several important topics and instances were investigated. Some important factors in time characteristics for the concerned industrial bus networks were analyzed in this book.
