Author Description

The present pandemic revived the memory of a long history full of endemics, epidemics, and pandemics that spread among all nations and devastated them. The people passed by difficult times like what we are passing through nowadays with the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. The history is repeating itself: people at those times had no clue of what hit them, what is the source of the disease? How to treat the patients? or How to stop the infection wave at its track? In this book I presented the most known infectious diseases that threatened human life in the past to the present. In addition, I included some of historical anecdotes that will make reading the book less intense.
