Conversations Between Economists and Anthropologists: Methodological Issues in Measuring Economic Change in Rural India
Although methodology separates economists and anthropologists, scholars in these two disciplines often share common interests. By focusing on a subject explored by both economists and anthropologists who work on India and the developing world--the measurement of economic change in rural areas and the countryside--this study bridges the methodological gap between the two professions. Scholars from both disciplines join in this volume to address this issue, and each other.
