
Abstract: The series of conference papers discusses the development of agriculture and food chemistry in the United States. Topics include the 1) highlights in U.S. Agriculture and food chemistry, 2) plant production historical developments and effects; 3) animal production historical developments and their effects; 4) historical developments in food processing and flavor; 5) nutrition; and 6) food safety regulations and concerns. Papers give expert's impressions, in each area, of great developments in production, processing and utilization (including nutritional safety) in the past 100 years.
