This volume contains 161 hymns simplified for pianists of moderate ability who find themselves playing the organ for church services. Pedals are not used and the frequently tricky spacing of many tunes is reduced to mainly three parts and specially arranged to lie easily under the hands. The arrangements can be used to accompany choirs and congregations singing the standard hymn-book harmonies.
