Oxford Reviews of Reproductive Biology is published annually and provides an up-to-date and authoritative account of clinical, mammalian, and non-mammalian problems in reproduction, including physiological, cellular, and molecular aspects. It is intended for all those working in the fields of reproduction, fertility, and sterility, including lecturers, research scientists, clinicians, veterinarians, and postgraduate and undergraduate students. This volume reviews on embryo-maternal interactions in primates and the roles of the extracellular matrix and of adhesion molecules in gonadal function and implantation. The early development of the male genital tract is covered in a review of the anti-Mullerian hormone, and the effects of age on reproductive processes are correlated in a further chapter. Immunological aspects of reproduction on the female thymus are described and comparative studies are represented in a chapter on seasonal breeding in macropodial marsupials. Finally, a chapter on X and Y sperm separation brings us right up to date in this controversial area.
